'B' is for a 'bee'

'B' is for this colourful bee that clung to a friend's leg after a walk in the woods... and no, the friend wasn't stung or poisoned.

the bee was plump and had pretty vibrant colours and feather-like feelers. it was a delight to watch such a colourful fly, and it stayed for a while before disappearing into the dark.

for ABC Wednesday Round6

p.s: what's referred to as a 'bee' above is a 'wasp moth' called Euchromia Polymena

Gorgeous, but I'm not sure I'D be as calm with a creature on my skin.

On behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you! - Ramblin' with Roger

I don't think I've ever seen a bee with so much color - glad nobody was damaged!

Hi!
Just pooped over and saw this beautiful photo of a moth. I know, who would have thought, but it is not a bee at all. It is a moth that is trying to look like it is dangerous, when in reality it is harmless. It looks as though its little disguise worked.
