when the tiny critter comes a-nagging
you slow your pace and go a-napping
he's building his idle hours, we're told
so he can be a millionaire in his critter-world!

a.k.a GL.
* Lazy to the core.
* Loves animals (lives with 2 rabbits and a dozen parrots). Reads. Dreams. Talks and talks. Is a birdbrain though.
* Is always talking to herself... out loud. Could be mad, but there's no way to know.
* Was an intelligent person once upon a time... stupidity took over a few years ago.
* Best features: a thousand watt-smile... and an evil plotting mind.
* An incorrigible romantic.
* Two things valued most: her digital camera, a pair of gold ear-rings.
* Lines that suit her best:
"... Alone she cuts and binds the grain
And sings a melancholy strain...."
from 'the solitary reaper'

I have to admit, I've never seen anyone napping with a turtle! A nap any way you can catch one is always a good thing!
this is a great poem and the picture is cute.
